Co-organized annually with MFW FoundationTo spread inclusive awareness and help prevent eating disorders, we co-organized Miss Fashion Week by opening the runway to people of diverse body types and ages. It empowers women and young generations to handle body image struggles, and provides nutrition and mental health workshops to equip women and girls with scientific knowledge to prevent eating disorders. So far, this health education program has made a positive impact on contestants from over 14 countries such as Australia, the United States, Spain, and England. We are continually developing a global community with nutrition & psychological support for eating disorders prevention, which emphasizes confidence, health, and self-love.
Bring Inclusive Fashion To the Next Level
Not Skinny, Not Plus-sized: Magic is in the MiddleIn today's Media and Fashion industry, even when modeling agencies strive to meet diversity & Inclusion, they seem to represent only the extremes.Choosing plus-sized models who are relatively overweight is misleading, because so many women especially Asians are relatively smaller, with an average size of 6-8, and cannot relate to the current size 10+ plus-sized categories. The fashion industry needs to read between the lines.
In fact, people can be Healthy at Every Size, which is mostly determined by their genes with their unique set point weight. So, it's crucial to redefine Beauty based on Health, not on skinny/plus sizes categories. Therefore, our founder Donni Zheng is set as a role model by becoming the first Mid-size Asian Runway Model, which is now MY-sized, to break the shackles of the current size-based beauty standards. Ultimately, a healthy body is the best body. Even if our bodies DO NOT fit into either Skinny or Plus-sized Categories, We Are Real Women and deserve to be seen in the media.
